Our yearly trip in honor of sweet Rose's anniversary. This year we had the joy of heading two hours west to the halfway point between KC and Hays to join our family at the Acorns Resort in Milford, KS. We had a BEAUTIFUL 5 bedroom cabin, right on the edge of Milford Lake. We had lots of varying weather, from 55 and sunny, to frigid cold and snowy. No matter the weather, the many bald eagles that we could view from the cabin remained extremely majestic.
