Saturday in KC!

First we hit up the Westport Art Fest. Very cool local artists... We both were a fan of the many local photographers.

Then we went to Blanc, Burgers and Bottles... A FANTASTIC burger place in Westport that has a HUGE beer list. Shaw had a Bison burger with a Triple style beer from Avery Brewing. Maureen and Elizabeth bot had a Blue cheese stuffed burger and Maureen had a Xingu black beer from Brazil.

After dinner we went to a Hookah bar and had some great hookah in an apple bowl with Baklava... Scrumptious. Then we hit up a great free performance by the dance group Quixotic Fusion... Quixotic Fusion is a collaborative ensemble of artists from various disciplines – dance, film, aerial arts, music, and fashion. This inventive group of artists goes beyond the limits of any specific art form, challenging traditional perceptions and creating a total sensory experience unlike any other for its audience.

It was a great show outside at the Nelson Atkins Museum with all new dances and music inspired by the new architecture at the museum. They had dancers and aerialists around the building and even on the side of the museum. The music was incredible.
